How to Help the Animals
There are many ways for you to help and support Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. Any and all help that we receive is always GREATLY appreciated. Please go through the list to find ways that YOU can Help!
Adopt a Pet: We always have an array of animals available for adoptions, including horses, donkeys, mules and even occasionally goats & chickens!
- Donate: Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non profit organization, funded solely by private donations. All donations are tax deductible as allowed by law or your personal circumstances.
- Contact your Legislators: There are always several bills pending that concern animal protection.
- Foster A Horse: Help an animal in need by providing love an attention to that animal while it is waiting for its forever home.

- Krogers: We participate in the Kroger community rewards program. Please sign up today. We get 5% of your total purchase and you keep your fuel points. Our number is LF610 or just type our name (Animal Protection Coalition, Inc) and search.
- Report Abuse & Neglect: Have you witnessed an animal being mistreated or neglected? Learn Equine Care Guidelines. Save Lives: Spay or Neuter Your Pet Today.
- Sponsor: Don't have room or time to Foster? Sponsor an animal in need, funds are always needed for ongoing medical, dental & farrier costs.
- Spread The Word: Send out e-mails, display brochures and flyers about Indiana Horse Rescue/APC, put our link on your website, and tell everyone you know about our mission to help animals in need.
- Volunteer: Give a little bit of your time to help the animals. We have needs beyond feeding and caring for the horses. Mowing, bushogging, building repairs, mechanical issues. There are always things needing build or repaired.Wish List: Check out our wish life for various needs for our animals.

Donations can be made via Network for Good, paypal.me/ihrcentral or mailed directly to the farm. We also accept gently used tack and horse items for resale at our semi annual tack sale – ALL funds go to the horse rescue!!

Provide for a horse while buying groceries. Cost you nothing but the time to log on to your Kroger card and add LF610 Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. and Kroger will donate a percentage of your money spent to the rescue!!
- Report Neglect
See something, say something. Each County is repsonsible for the animals. If you don’t have a humane society that does horses, contact your County Sheriff Dept it IS their responsibility. Let them know we are here to help!! If you aren’t sure who to call, give us a shout! We try to be helpful and answer your questions!

There are so many horses in need of homes. It is much harder to transport them, house them or care for them when you have a change in life. We don’t just take in neglected horses, we take in owner surrenders when space allows. Can you help at least one that has come to the rescue?
- Volunteer
Just one day a week, every couple of weeks, or each month can make the difference in a horses life! There is always so much to do! Even mowing the grass has to be done!
